Abstract

© 2017 IEEE. We demonstrate a wideband tunable, ultrafast fiber laser mode-locked by using a solution deposited and encapsulated black phosphorus (BP) saturable absorber. Stable, picosecond pulses, tunable from 1535 nm to 1565 nm are generated.
