This paper describes the development of an integrated and automatic system for solving multi-objective real-world design optimisation problems. Our illustrative test case is the aerodynamic optimisation of a wing-mounted propeller aircraft configuration. The compu-tational framework combines the MATLAB MOGA toolbox, as a means to navigate and explore the design space, and an low fidelity methodology to evaluate the aerodynamic performance metrics. The Pareto frontier, solution of the optimisation process, show a successful trade-off between different configurations, leading to meaningful designs and aerodynamically more efficient.
