Abstract

© 2003 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved. We propose a computational method for the simulation of an inviscid compressible fluid flow interacting with a shell structure undergoing large deformations. The basic approach furnishes a general algorithm to fully couple Lagrangian shell solvers with Cartesian grid-based Eulerian fluid solvers.
