Abstract

© 2015 IEEE. The influence of electrode position on the current-voltage characteristics (IVC) and broadly tunable terahertz (THz) radiation emitted from two pentagonal mesa structures consisting of the intrinsic Josephson junctions in a high-T c superconducting device is investigated.
