Abstract

© 2016 OSA. We demonstrate a self-starting dual-wavelength ytterbium-doped fiber laser Q-switched by using a solution processed few-layer tungsten disulfide (WS 2 )-polymer composite saturable absorber, operating at the wavelength of 1030.2 nm and 1034.5 nm, respectively.
