Abstract

This paper presents a new motor design scheme to reduce the motor iron loss and improve the motor performance. According to the magnetic properties of the motor, the motor teeth replace the grain-oriented silicon steel (GO) with the original non-grain-oriented silicon steel sheet (NGO), which reduces the tooth loss of the motor and reduces the magnetoresistance of the motor teeth to improve the motor efficiency and the motor output. By analyzing the characteristics of the motor's magnetic flux density motion and combining the material properties of the silicon steel sheet, this paper finds the motor teeth replace GO with NGO, analyzes the tooth loss and electromagnetic performance of the motor at the whole running speed and learns that after the motor teeth adopt the grain-oriented silicon steel sheet, the maximum output of the motor increases by 4.3%, the rated efficiency of the motor increases by 2.7%, and the maximum peak efficiency of the motor increases by 1.5%.
