Abstract

We report on the observation of tunable terahertz wave radiation from various shapes of mesas in high-temperature superconductor Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ intrinsic Josephson junctions. We furthermore demonstrate the mesa arrays design for powerful terahertz radiations.
